SCAMP has been working with the Stranraer Oyster Festival (13th – 15th September) and the Wigtown Book Festival (27th September – 6th October) to ensure there are opportunities for people to learn more about their marine and coastal habitats and biodiversity.

In addition, we are delighted to have been working with Annan Harbour Action Group and D&G Climate Hub on bring you the brand new ImMerse Festival, a three- day environment festival located at Annan which helps engage people with their river, its estuary and the remarkable merse saltmarsh. We curated educational workshops, citizen science activities linked to the Great UK Water Blitz, and creative activities designed to help people understand and fall in love with their fascinating natural environment as well as seeing how it might be impacted by climate change and biodiversity loss.
