SCAMP wishes to purchase a single small underwater ROV to be used for film, photography, sampling and survey by a solo operator, from either the shore or a boat. In addition, the device will be used to live stream footage to audiences raging from large crowds at festivals or events on large screens and to groups of children involved in environmental education.
Suppliers should read the specification list as this will be the principal way in which we decide what product we are buying. It is critical, for example, that whichever product we chose that it has a long lifetime and is not likely to become obsolete in the next couple of years. It is also likely that our partners may be purchasing similar or compatible equipment, therefore it is critical that the device we chose is adaptable and useable on multiple platforms.
